Joe, please don't feel like you have to pretend what is happening doesn't hurt or that you have to appear strong for everyone else. We know you hurt and we are hurting for you. Baby Ira has had a long hard battle and I can't even begin to imagine how exhausted, frustrated, angry, sad, confused, and hurt you must feel at this point. I know that all of wish we could lighten your burden somehow. I hope that our prayers make you feel lighter and hopeful. I know that we have only met a few times but I feel God's Spirit in both of you...Laura with her sweet but impassioned gentleness and you with a fire...Sophie is so lucky to have a dad who feels so passionately about her place in the body of Christ. You are both kingdom people being brought through the fires of hell right now. We are holding you up and hoping the flames don't scorch you and praying for living water.
