Coming Home

Our families have viewed it, Laura and I have watched enough to let it sink in and now I want to share it with those of you who have been following our story: Ira's Coming Home video.

Jason Isbell has helped me make it available for your viewing. In order for the movie to work you must have a high speed internet connection and QuickTime 7.0.3.

If you use a MAC (which all of you should), then click here to download QuickTime and then you're ready to go.

If you use a PC, then click here, install QuickTime, restart your computer, and you will be ready to go. Don't you just hate restarting your computer so often? (Psst, make the switch already!)

Click below to watch.

I love it. I think I smiled through it all. I feel joy for Ira and for what your family is getting to look forward to. I feel such joy for you because I know what it is like to be on the opposite end of that story. Even though I did not get to do those things with Noah, I feel no jealously, bitterness or anger, and I thank God for that. I thank God that I can watch Ira's movie and honestly rejoice with you.

Maybe when Ira gets a little older he can let a balloon go to his friend Noah.

Loved the ovation and smiles and tears from those who have watched you walk through those doors without your sweet boy every day for months, finally walk through those doors with him.

Thank you for sharing your life and your Ira with the world.

O, HAPPY DAY!

I am so moved by your video. I live in Germantown, Tennessee and work with Hannah Stevens. I have been following your plight for months now. I am so happy for your family! I cried and cried and cried through the video! Isn't it amazing how God can cause you to have such feelings and love for a little boy whose family you've never met?!? My IRA bracelet is on its way. I pray for Ira and your family all the time. He's just one of those special people who God places on your heart to intercede for. Thanks again for sharing. In Him, Kelly :)

A Macintosh owner AND a Volkswagen owner. How cool is that? Ira's got himself a great family. Congratulations!

We shared tears of joy with you as we watched your beautiful video.

I still am in awe of the fact that you guys were at the hopital everyday for almost 6 months and were FINALLY able to bring him home. Since Cooper is just a month or so younger than Ira, I can't imagine what it would have been like to not have him home with us. It had to feel just great holding Ira in your arms, walking out of the hospital and putting him into that carseat, FINALLY - right next to his big sister!

Okay, I'll be honest...I've been putting off watching the video because I knew I was going to cry buckets. I had to mentally prepare for it. And it's a good thing...'cause I was right!

I am so, so happy for you guys. I know the road is still long and exhausting at times...but Ira is at HOME with his mom and dad and sister. Thank you Jesus!!!

And thanks for sharing the video of a most personal moment in your lives. Thank you for sharing the joy!
