Ira's Premier

How do you like my new design? It's spectacular, huh? All credit - and I mean all -- goes to Jason Isbell. Jason is the youth minister here at Manhattan Church of Christ but as he often reminds us, he can't simply be defined by his youth ministry skills. He felt sorry for my sad, pathetic blog and so urged me to let go and allow him to create something fun, beautiful and clean. I love it. Thanks, Jason.

I mentioned that my sister, Katie, helped me create my first iMovie. It's nothing spectacular and I'm pretty sure that veterans of iMovie will notice flaws or rules broken but I like how it turned out and I'm sure Ira's grandparents will be happy with the outcome. Jason Isbell has helped me make it available for your viewing. In order for the movie to work you must have a high speed internet connection and QuickTime 7.0. It's a big file (41 mb) and will take a while to download on your computer, but it will not work if you do not have QuickTime 7.0.

If you use a MAC (which all of you should), then click here to download QuickTime 7.0 and then you're ready to go.

If you use a PC, then click here install QuickTime 7.0, restart your computer, and you will be ready to go.

While waiting for QuickTime to install on my PC, I thought I'd take this time to say: I'm JEALOUS of your blog! I tried to give mine a new look, and failed miserably. It totally looks like *I* did it, and I wanted it to look fresh and snazzy like yours does. I wish Jason were MY friend. ;)

Tears, audible giggles, and a big sigh when it was over. BEAUTIFULLY done. Thank you for the privilege of being in that place with you, if only for a moment.

Joe and Laura,

Nobody warned me that it was going to be an emotional video. I was crying my eyes out! Seriously though, for the first time I get to see all of you interact as a family in 'real life', and I continue to praise God for your amazing strength and faith through this journey.

With much thoughts and prayers, Debbie-Leong Villarreal

Your video is so touching, and there are tears still here on my desk to show it. You have such a beautiful daughter and son, and we are praying with you for Ira's healing. I hear the song on the radio all the time, and it reminds me to pray for Ira now.

I have been following your story for several months as I have a 5 month old son that was born around the same time as Ira. This video you made for him is wonderfully touching. Please know that I pray daily for Ira and your entire family.
With thoughts and prayers,

What an amazing video! I've been following your blog for a few months now, but never commented before. I just wanted to let you know I love the new design of your blog and thought the video was very touching. Please know there are people in American Samoa praying for you and Ira.

When I viewed the video, I was overcome with emotion and love for your precious family whom I don't even know. How much greater the Father who MADE you all must love you! He has got to be proud when He sees your life, and He has a wonderful plan for your future. I can almost hear God singing about you, "He's My son."

I love the video. I have watched my video of Noah so many times that I have become a little numb to the emotions, but I found them watching your family with Ira. I love that that you can hold him, that you talk to him and see his expressions, that you can bath him, and that Sophia can spend time with her brother.
Stay strong Ira!
