WHOOP!

This was the scene after my unranked Aggies beat the #11 t-sips. The Aggies did it rushing for a total of 244 yards against what was the best run defense in the nation. The Aggies deserved this win after losing close games against Nebraska and OU.

The Aggie women's soccer team keeps rolling in the NCAA tourney. They're in the quarterfinals against North Carolina. The men's basketball team just won their first in-season b-ball tourney in seventeen years and the women are coming off an 83 point victory. (Yes, you read that correctly - they beat McNeese state by 83 points!)

It's a good year to be an Aggie fan. Gig 'em, Aggies!

As a football coach first, the Ags played so much better than the Horns. The O-line of the Ags owned the LOS and U.T. could not stop the Option to save their life. Ag Defense also outplayed UT, and to only score 7 at home is shameful. As the spouse of a faithful Horn, I was sad to see my wife suffer through the game. McCoy is good, but he is trying to fill some very big shoes and it is obvious that he is no V.Y. The broadcast guys said this was the 9th time A&M has won in Austin. Shar said it will be a cold day when they get #10.

Yes. I was so impressed to see the Aggie player blind-side Colt 20 seconds after the play was over.

Some may boast of prowess bold
Of the school they think so grand,
But there's a spirit can ne'er be told
It's the Spirit of Aggieland!!!

It was a ground and pound type of game that really could've gone either way at various points in the game. The TAMU fans were loud and proud but only had a small corner of the stadium to call their own other than a few maroon faithfuls scattered throughout the rest of the fans who wore a sea of orange and white school spirit. The crowd was soooo loud at times in the game- it was amazing to take in. Wish you could've been there because it was one for the record books- or to break the record books for t.u. that is.

Texas, Texas AMC
Gig'em Aggies 1-2-3.

Farmers fight! Farmers fight! Fight! Fight! Farmers, Farmers Fight!

Hey Bob, here's an interesting perspective on the hit McCoy took. Looks like the Aggies may have learned its lesson from the Horns...http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/big12/stories/MYSA113006.01C.COL.FBCharvey.31546c1.html
