This video was done in November of 2005. Ira had been home a month. He would be home one more month before going back into the hospital. Sophia loved having him home!

You know... I seen a picture there of Ira where he looked so much like my John. I totally understand what Laura was saying when she said John reminds her of Ira.

My son is perhaps two/three months younger than your Ira -- so I know that Ira must be nearing his 2nd birthday.

I love that video. Sophia reminds me so much of Alyssa. I can just see the expressions in some of those clips. Like as she is reading the book to Ira: "listen up brother, this is a book about butterflies, and I am going to tell you all about it." I can see so clearly the love that she has for him. Honestly, I watched the video and imagined it was my kids. Wondering what it would have been like with Noah. Imagining Alyssa taking care of Noah. I don't have those thoughts too often, so thanks.
Oh, my goodness! I *adore* this movie! (And the still photos and the song and...well, everything!)
Did you see Ira's face while his sister was reading to him, just soaking up her affection and attention and learning from her?
It kinda choked me up...
